A beautiful rendition of ‘I Thank God’ from 8 year-old Rhema, a blessed girl with an amazing voice!
God has truly blessed this 8 year-old girl with not only a beautiful singing voice but a powerful faith! Rhema speaks God’s word through song to honor her mother who lost her battle against ovarian cancer. Rhema feels her mother’s spirit every time she sings and shares the Gospel with all those who listen in hopes to heal their hearts as it has healed hers.
God has told us that music has a powerful place in our worship to Him, and he is very clear about it in the bible.
God loves when we call out to Him in song in Jeremiah 31:13 He says:
“Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry.
I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.”
Rhema is a wonderful example of how we can use music to praise God even in the hardest seasons of our lives.
